Community Investment
Arpan continually strives to build upon its investment in the community it serves, be it Education, Vocational Training or Environment Conservation.
Since its inception, Arpan has grown from strength to strength. This has only been possible with the keen involvement of the Arpan volunteers. More and more employees have joined the program to support this noble effort.
Glimpses of activities conducted in 2009
- Fiserv associates collaborated with Sankalp and Saksham Daksh School for tuition classes in Computer Science and English. Fiserv also established a computer wing for Sankalp School
- Fiserv collaborated with Saksham Daksh for Project Daisy. Fiserv associates were involved in the development of digital talking books for children with multiple disabilities. Associates helped in recording of digital talking books related to various subjects using special recording software. These books are circulated across India by Saksham for children with multiple disabilities
- Fundraiser for Sangise School by sale of paintings. A sum of Rs 75,000 was raised for the school
- Fiserv associates participate in maintenance of Navkshitij premises at Pune
- Fiserv employees participate in the KGNMT Girl’s Education Assistance Program. A sum of Rs. 108,100 was raised for education of the girl child
- Fiserv associates support the cause of ‘Child Education’ during the Delhi Half Marathon partnering with Concern India foundation. A sum of Rs. 120,000/- was earmarked towards teacher’s salaries for Sankalp School, Noida
- Fiserv associates organized and conducted Sankalp School’s first Sports Day. This will be an annual feature and will be supported by Fiserv
- Arpan Pune joined hands with ‘Clean Earth Movement’ group and participate in the Green Drive movement. The activity takes place every Sunday
- Diwali celebrations with Sankalp, Saksham and Navkshitij. Fiserv associates designed diyas and helped in selling the same amongst the Fiserv fraternity. Fiserv raised an appreciable amount of Rs. 50,000/- towards the initiative that was shared with the respective schools
